The evening will kick off with a cocktail and appetizer hour with Neighbor by Neighbor's Executive Director, Bob Murphy. This time will provides guests with the opportunity to learn about the organization's essential work directly from Mr. Murphy, as well as connect with other philanthropic-minded community members. We will then move to the Granor Greenhouse for a three-course, family-style meal that showcases the best of Granor's crops and other ingredients from local producers and farms.

Sourdough Club Third Session—a new series of classes, hosted once a month, each focused on a different sourdough topic. Led by Granor baker and sourdough extraordinaire, Jill Morgan, and guest Chef Milana Duthie, owner of Share Crackers in Detroit.
This three hour class includes a light dinner featuring Granor produce and grains, a demonstration of a variety of things to make with sourdough discard from crackers to pancakes with the opportunity for hands-on work along, your own container of discard, and recipes to bake at home.

We are thrilled to be welcoming James Beard Finalists Chefs Eric Patterson and Jennifer Blakeslee back to Granor Farm this May. Chef Patterson and Chef Blakeslee are the co-chefs and co-owners of The Cooks' House, a destination, farm-to-fork eatery in Traverse City, Michigan. Each of their innovative, seasonal menus are built around local produce and inspired by global flavors. At Granor, they will be creating their menu alongside Granor Chef Alex Skrzypczyk in the same manner—harvesting the freshest spring produce from our fields and designing a one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-repeated menu celebrating the glory of May in Michigan.
This Dinner features a five-course meal accompanied by Granor Table Wines and Granor Spirits, with non-alcohol pairings available upon request.

The evening will kick off a cocktail and appetizer hour with Chicago Humanities Festival's Co-Creative Director, Michael Green. The cocktail hour will conclude with a discussion between Mr. Green and Granor Farm's Culinary Director, Abra Berens, about Chicago Humanities and Granor Farm's shared goal of enriching the cultural and intellectual lives of those within our communities. We will then move to the Granor Greenhouse for a three-course, family-style meal that showcases the best of Granor's crops and other ingredients from local producers and farms.
