Sourdough Club Third Session—a new series of classes, hosted once a month, each focused on a different sourdough topic. Led by Granor baker and sourdough extraordinaire, Jill Morgan, and guest Chef Milana Duthie, owner of Share Crackers in Detroit.
This three hour class includes a light dinner featuring Granor produce and grains, a demonstration of a variety of things to make with sourdough discard from crackers to pancakes with the opportunity for hands-on work along, your own container of discard, and recipes to bake at home.
Students arrive to a light dinner and move to Granor Kitchen Island to discuss sourdough with Jill. The demonstration will focus on shaping and proofing and conclude with shaping your own loaves. These classes are interactive and have lots of opportunity for question asking and one on one instruction.
Students leave with a slew of information, recipes, and the confidence to begin (or continue) their sourdough journey.

Granor Farm is fortunate to be rooted in a region supported by a variety of organizations devoted to improving the common good. Granor’s “Community Benefit Dinner” series connects diners with regional place-makers with Granor Farm as a philanthropic partner. Our program begins with a discussion orientated around the organization and how it connects to the region, followed by a multi-course meal showcasing ingredients grown by Granor.
