This Mother's Day Weekend we are hosting a bake sale benefiting Treetops Collective, a non-profit organization supporting recently settled refugee families. Pastry boxes featuring baked goods from 3 regional bakeries are available for pre-order or purchase on the day with all proceeds going directly to Treetops Collective.
Pastry Boxes are available for pre-order now via our online store. Note that each box contains pastry from each business and will last until Mother's Day, if you want to take them to go. In addition to the pastries, we will have Madcap Coffee available for free to go with the pastries.
This year's participating bakeries are Black Currant Bakehouse (Union Pier), Broken Tart (Oak Park) The Elder Bread (South Bend), Field and Fire (Grand Rapids), Granor Farm (Three Oaks) and House of Rufus (Chesterton).

Our workshops are the most in-depth course we offer. Together the group will prepare minimum 6 different dishes under the tutelage of the Granor Chef. Then we will come together as a group and enjoy the fruits of our labors as a sit down, family-style meal. The meal includes Granor Table Wine. Workshops are generally about 4 hours and can include a walking tour of the farm.
Have you ever watched a cooking show and wished that you could ask a question or taste what they are making? Now you can! In our Chef's Table Dinners, the Granor Chef will teach a minimum of five different dishes, and serve a tasting portion of each one accompanied by our Granor Wine. These events are typically about three hours, and you will leave with full recipes, a new skill set, and a full belly.
Edna Lewis is the Grande Dame of Southern Cooking and Local Food Pioneer. The Granor Kitchen draws immense inspiration from her work and are thrilled to create a spring menu highlighting some of her classic dishes.
The meal will begin with family style snacks followed with an individually-plated, three course menu concluding with a tasty, spring-time dessert.
Every meal includes beverages, both Granor Table Wine and non-alcoholic options, paired with that night's menu.

Granor Farm is fortunate to be rooted in a region supported by a variety of organizations devoted to improving the common good. Granor’s “Community Benefit Dinner” series connects diners with regional place-makers with Granor Farm as a philanthropic partner. Our program begins with a discussion orientated around the organization and how it connects to the region, followed by a multi-course meal showcasing ingredients grown by Granor and to the organization's mission.
