In our Demonstration Dinners, the Granor Chef will teach a minimum of five different dishes, and serve a tasting portion of each one accompanied by our Granor Table Wine. Please join us for Book and Supper Club with John Birdsall, whose new culinary culture deep dive, What is Queer Food? How We Served a Revolution, explores how the Food in America and Europe has long been shaped, twisted, and upended by queer creatives.

John Birdsall is the author of The Man Who Ate Too Much: The Life of James Beard and is the recipient of two James Beard Awards for food and culture writing.

The evening will kick off with drinks and a conversation between John and local farmer and queer food author, Taylor Hartson about the importance and state of queer food in America in urban and rural spaces.

Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal with dishes inspired by John's book. Each ticket includes a copy of John's most recent book. The event will conclude with a book signing. Copies of Taylor's new book, Playing in the Dirt, will be available for purchase on the night.

Kick off summer with our introduction to bbq-ing. This class will cover long slow cooks, hot fast grills, and our favorite marinades and dry rubs.

Our Cooking Classes focus on a specific technique or ingredient to help expand your kitchen confidence. This two hour class is primarily demonstration with some opportunity for hands on work and always include snacks and non-alcoholic beverages but not a full meal experience.

Our Botanical Dining Room is an intimate setting overlooking the western grow house and focusing on ornamental, herbaceous, and tropical plants. The Taste of Granor Experience offers a multi-course, family-style meal that showcases the best of Granor's crops and other ingredients from local producers and farms. Each menu is written for that night, never to be repeated, and sharing our farm at a particular moment of time.
Your evening will feature the same tour, menu and beverage pairings as served in the Main Dining Room but in a private space with a dedicated server and a custom menu talk with the Chef Team.
Booking fee includes 10 guests, all inclusive. If you have more than 10 guests, we will invoice you for the remainder after the event.
