We are seeking motivated folks with experience and passion who aspire to a career in farming, culinary, or small business management. All employees are integral members of our small but mighty team at Granor Farm. During the season you will be exposed to all aspects of organic farming, from seed to plate.
Located in Three Oaks, Michigan, Granor Farm is a diversified organic farm cultivating grains, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. We farm approximately 400 acres in the area surrounding our original 35 acres, Granor’s base of operations. Granor’s farming operations focus on cultivating a wide variety of organic ingredients to support our farm store, CSA, greenhouse dining experience, bread-making, summer camp and next year a wine and spirits program. Since 2007 we have grown from two employees farming 4 acres to a full-time team of 17 responsible for guiding and operating Granor.
Over the last few years, we have diversified and scaled our production across all departments (produce, grain, dining, and farm camp). As you might expect, this involves a great amount of planning and building both on the farm with our infrastructure and with the community. As an employee at Granor Farm, you will be exposed to the challenges and successes we experience with these expansions and you will have an opportunity to grow with us if it is the right fit. Over the next few years, our goal is to focus on improving current production systems while also launching new programming relating to our dining experience, distilling, and education to become a more efficient operation both in our growing approach as well as our employee experience.
We are located in the heart of Southwest Michigan's Harbor Country, close to Lake Michigan beaches and vibrant small towns, just 90 miles from Chicago. This region is home to a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities available year-round and boasts a lively food scene, world-class wineries, craft breweries and distilleries.
