Roasted broccoli raab tossed in a savory sweet miso butter and finished with toasted sesame and scallions. The rich umami flavors balance the greens natural bitterness, making it an excellent side for roasted chicken, grilled pork, or steamed rice.
1. Preheat the oven to 425 F. Toss broccoli raab with olive oil, salt and pepper. Spread on a sheet pan and roast until tender and lightly charred around the edges.
2. While the broccoli raab roasts, stir together the butter, miso, honey, and rice vinegar until smooth.
3. Transfer the hot broccoli raab to a serving bowl and toss with the miso butter until evenly coated.
4.Top with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
