Pickled Apples

Sweet and zippy, these pickled apples add a perfect sweet-and-sour crunch to any salad or can liven up homemade pizzas and sandwiches.

Ingredients

3 medium apples, cored & diced or sliced
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp salt

Method

  1. Bring vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to a simmer in a pot.
  2. Pour the liquid over the diced apples.
  3. Let cool, then refrigerate overnight.
