A fool proof tender scone recipe. Use frozen fruit if working with berries other wise fresh is fine. Add citrus zest or vanilla to flavor to your liking.
1. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and fruit. Mix to combine.
2. Create a well in the center of the bowl and add the cream.
3. Mix until no dry spots remain and the fruit is evenly distributed throughout.
4. Scoop with a spoon or large ice cream scooper onto a parchment lined sheet tray. Press down to flatter into a disc shape
5. Bake at 350F for 15-17 minutes or until the top is golden.
