Week 5: August 3–6
This sustainability-themed week encourages campers to think creatively about how we use materials and care for our land by focusing on reducing waste and repurposing everyday items. Campers will explore what it means to reuse and repurpose through hands-on projects that turn found and discarded materials into art and useful creations. Cooking activities will highlight mindful choices, minimizing food waste and teach children the importance of preservation. Through gardening experiences, campers will learn about composting and responsible stewardship helps to support healthy ecosystems. This week is always full of fun, creative energy and community.

There’s a bunch of great reasons to visit the farm all year round, from our annual Seedling Sale, to visiting the Farm Store, to participating in our CSA or Farm Camp programs. Join us on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner in our state of the art Greenhouse!
Join us for a special evening celebrating the work of local painter, Edward Ravine.
Dinner will begin with a welcome drink and a conversation with Ed about his artistic process and how his paintings are shaped by the Southwest Michigan landscape. Following the discussion will be a multi-course collaboration dinner inspired by Ed's selected paintings and prepared Granor Kitchen Team.
Presented as part of Art Attack 2026.
Despite its reputation, sausage is not a messy process! Join Granor Chef Erin Stanley for an introduction to sausage making at home. We'll cook a sausage-filled dinner together and leave with the skills to level up your summer grilling.

Our workshops are the most in-depth course we offer. Chef Erin will demonstrate everything you need to know about sausage making from meat selection, grinding, mixing, linking and cooking. Students will also mix their own breakfast sausage to take home. After the demonstration, we will come together as a group and enjoy the fruits of our labors as a sit down, family-style meal. The meal includes Granor Table Wine.
