Week 1: June 29-July 2
Here at Granor, we grow a lot of vegetables and we want our campers to dig into this colorful and fascinating world through hands-on, engaging experiences. Campers will learn where vegetables come from and how they grow by planting seeds, caring for garden beds and harvesting produce. Our vegetable inspired arts and crafts will inspire campers to see the beauty in the food we eat and grow. In the kitchen, campers will prepare fresh and simple recipes; camp favorites for this week include, beet brownies, sauerkraut and ramen jars. Campers come together this week to build curiosity, confidence and a respect for the food we eat.

Join us for a special evening celebrating the work of local painter, Edward Ravine.
Dinner will begin with a welcome drink and a conversation with Ed about his artistic process and how his paintings are shaped by the Southwest Michigan landscape. Following the discussion will be a multi-course collaboration dinner inspired by Ed's selected paintings and prepared Granor Kitchen Team.

Despite its reputation, sausage is not a messy process! Join Granor Chef Erin Stanley for an introduction to sausage making at home. We'll cook a sausage-filled dinner together and leave with the skills to level up your summer grilling.

Our workshops are the most in-depth course we offer. Chef Erin will demonstrate everything you need to know about sausage making from meat selection, grinding, mixing, linking and cooking. Students will also mix their own breakfast sausage to take home. After the demonstration, we will come together as a group and enjoy the fruits of our labors as a sit down, family-style meal. The meal includes Granor Table Wine.
