This October we are thrilled to be hosting chef patron of the award-winning Lebnani in Reigate, England, Jad Youssef, in celebration of his debut cookbook, Lebnani: A Journey through family, food & the flavours of Lebanon! Join us for an author reception in our Greenhouse featuring a generous Lebanese mezze spread inspired by recipes from the book and prepared by the Granor Kitchen, followed by a discussion with Chef Jad Youssef and a book signing.
Your ticket includes a discussion and book signing with Jad Youssef, as well as mezze from the Granor Kitchen. Granor Wines and cocktails highlighting Granor Spirits will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Copies of Lebnani are available as an optional add-on when booking through our website (with limited copies available for purchase the night of the event).
Jad Youssef is a renowned chef whose award-winning restaurant, Lebnani, sources local, seasonal ingredients to bring the flavors of his Lebanese heritage to diners in Reigate, Surrey. Born in Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War, Chef Youssef first learned to cook in his mother's kitchen and his father’s pastry shop. After training at Ecole Hoteliere in Beirut, he worked at many top restaurants throughout Europe. In 2009, Youssef opened Yalla Yalla in Soho—one of London's first Lebanese street food restaurants, for which he received critical acclaim.
In 2020, Chef Youssef moved back to the UK from Hong Kong and founded Lebnani, which has earned an AA Rosette in May 2025 and won the Be Inclusive Hospitality Middle Eastern Food Award in October 2025. His signature dish—Sawda Djej (chicken liver with pomegranate molasses)—has gained cult status, earning a place in Time Out London’s “100 Best Dishes." Chef Youssef is an alum of Celebrity MasterChef UK and has been featured in The Times, The Observer, Financial Times and The Guardian.
Most recently, Chef Youssef is sharing a heartfelt collection of recipes and stories with readers across the globe through his debut cookbook, Lebnani: A Journey through family, food & the flavours of Lebanon. This cookbook is a celebration of not only the diversity of Lebanese cuisine, but of a nation's history, culture, and resilience. We are delighted to welcome Chef Youssef to Granor Farm this fall to commemorate the release of this triumphant work.

Our workshops are the most in-depth course we offer. Together the group will see a minimum 6 different dishes demonstrated by the Granor Chef. Then we will come together as a group and enjoy the fruits of our labors as a sit down, family-style meal. The meal includes Granor Table Wine.
