Lettuce Salad

The garlic bread crumbs give the salad a nice touch of crunch. Add any edible flowers or herbs you like.

1 bag salad greens
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
2 T apple cider vinegar
2 T olive oil


  1. Wash and dry the lettuce greens
  2. Mince the garlic
  3. Heat the 1/4 cup of olive oil in a large frying pan
  4. Add the garlic and remove from the heat to slowly cook
  5. When fragrant add the bread crumbs and stir to coat. Return to the heat and gently toast.
  6. Dress the greens with the vinegar, 2 T olive oil, pinch of salt and 2 pinches of pepper.
  7. Top with a few spoonfuls of garlic bread crumbs and serve.
