Ingredients

2 bunches kale
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 oz parmesan
1 lb long pasta
1/4 cup cream (optional)

Method

  1. Slice the kale into ribbons
  2. Grate the parmesan
  3. In a food processor blend the kale, olive oil, sunflower seeds, grated cheese with a big pinch of salt and pepper until smooth
  4. Cook the pasta to the specs on the package
  5. Dress the pasta with the kale pesto and cream if using
