Hungarian Potatoes

These potatoes make a great side dish or full meal when topped with a poached egg and green salad.

2 lbs potatoes, any variety
2 lbs sweet potatoes
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp chili flake (optional)
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1 bunch dill, chopped
1 cup sour cream or greek yogurt


  1. Heat oven to 400F
  2. Cut the potatoes into wedges and toss with a glug of olive oil, all of the spices, and a big pinch of salt
  3. Transfer to a baking sheet and roast until the potatoes are tender and crispy on the outside
  4. Combine the dill and sour cream and serve the potatoes with several dollops of dilly sour cream on top
