Summer is here and so is the opening of Granor's new casual dining option outside of the Farm Store. Next time you're picking up organic produce, pantry staples, or a loaf of freshly baked bread from the wood fired oven, check out the outdoor window for lunch, snacks, and drinks.
Step into the tranquil bubble of the farm and lounge in an Adirondack chair, set up a picnic, have fun on the playground, and soak in the views of the vegetable and flower fields. The whole family is welcome, dogs too!
The Picnic Bar menu rotates based on the season but this summer, a selection of freshly baked goods, salads, dips, and chips can be expected for the perfect picnic spread.
To drink, try a cocktail made with Granor's spirits and botanicals or a glass of Granor wine. Non-alcoholic options include cold brew made with our Granor House Blend, a collaboration with Madcap Coffee.
Cocktail specials change monthly based on what's fresh at the farm. May's highlights our Blackberry Amaro, the Blackberry Buck, made with herbaceous Granor Gin paired with Blackberry Amaro and a spicy kick of ginger beer and mint. It's a refreshing twist on a classic and perfect for a hot day.
The opening of the Picnic Bar goes hand in hand with the finalization of the re-landscaping of the farmyard. We welcome you to rediscover the grounds at Granor.
World-renowned landscape architect (and long-time friend of Granor Farm) Doug Hoerr, of the farmed Hoerr Schaudt Design, has lent his brilliant vision to completely refresh our grounds.
To complement our new Picnic Bar, we wanted a space where families could relax, shielded from the sun and noise. By planting over 300 new trees and shrubs, Doug worked closely with our team to reimagine the flow of the farm—crafting shaded, curved paths that beautifully open up to the geometric shapes of our fields.
We invite you to grab a cocktail and a snack at the Picnic Bar then wander the newly minted paths. It will feel like visiting us for the very first time, all over again.
