Join us for Dinner + Drinks with Seedz Brewery of Union Pier! The evening will begin with a beer and appetizer hour in our School House, featuring Seedz beer and appetizers from the Granor Kitchen. We will then move to our Greenhouse for a three-course, family-style meal loaded with Granor-grown produce and paired with Ryan's favorite beers from the Seedz catalog.

Seedz is a small-batch brewery dedicated to honoring classic European brewing styles while using locally-sourced ingredients from within the Midwest region. Owned by New Buffalo native, Ryan Ziarko, their beer incorporates local agriculture, including Granor Farm grains, to make truly exceptional beers.

May 2026 Grain EB 26

At Granor Farm, partnering with and celebrating like-minded businesses in our community has always been a part of our ethos. That is why we are delighted to welcome longtime friend of Granor, local agriculture advocate, and owner of Seedz Brewery—Ryan Ziarko—back to the farm this November.

After many years of homebrewing and perfecting his recipes and techniques at breweries throughout the Michiana region, Ryan decided to create a brewery of his own focused on traditional techniques and locally-grown grains and hops. Seedz opened it doors in 2021, and has since become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike for its thoughtfully-crafted, delicate Belgian and Czech-style beers and slow pours that create a pillowy foam topping. Granor Farm is proud to supply the grains for several Seedz beers, including their Mitten Life American Lager, brewed with our organic corn.

This Dinner + Drinks event will begin in our School House with a selection of Seedz beers and appetizers from the Granor Kitchen. During this time, guests will have the opportunity to chat with Ryan about all things mixed-fermentation, foam, and local grains. Immediately after the cocktail hour, a three-course, family-style dinner featuring Granor-grown produce paired with Seedz beers will be served in our Greenhouse.

*Please note that while we accommodate all dietary restrictions, this menu will feature gluten and beer heavily.*

Dinner + Drinks: Artisan Grain Collaborative

Granor Farm is fortunate to be rooted in a region supported by a variety of organizations devoted to improving the common good. Our September Dinner + Drinks event will be benefiting Artisan Grain Collaborative, a robust network of local farmers, millers, maltsters, distillers, bakers, and chefs. AGC works to create a diverse regional grainshed in the Upper Midwest built upon regenerative agricultural practices that steward the health of communities, local economies, and natural resources.
-
The evening will kick off with a cocktail and appetizer hour with Artisan Grain Collaborative’s Network Engagement Director, Sarah Elliott, and Granor's Lead Baker, Jill Morgan. This time will provide guests with the opportunity to learn about the organization's essential work directly from Ms. Elliott, as well as connect with other philanthropic-minded community members. We will then move to the Granor Greenhouse for a three-course, family-style meal that showcases the best of Granor's grains and crops, as well as other ingredients from local producers and farms.
-
This ticket includes a $50 donation to Artisan Grain Collaborative that will be collected at the time of booking.
