Shortcakes
These super simple cream scones are our favorite baked good to nestle under a big pile of strawberries.
Ingredients
575g all purpose flour
150g sugar
20g baking powder
5g salt
575g heavy cream
Method
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- Add the cream and bring together into a cohesive dough
- Either scoop or roll into a 2" thick slab and cut with a biscuit cutter
- Bake at 375F until cooked through and golden brown
