Hot Honey

Chili pepper infused honey adds a little perk to rich items like pizza, biscuits, roasted carrots, eggplant, or ricotta toasts.

3 cayenne or habanero peppers
16 oz honey


  1. Remove the stem from the peppers and cut in half, discarding seeds for a less spicy honey
  2. In a small sauce pan, heat the honey over medium heat until thin in texture
  3. Remove from the heat and add the peppers and let steep at least 10 minutes
  4. Return to a clean jar and allow to cool before covering
  5. Store at room temperature
