Beat the ricotta and egg with a pinch of salt until combined then transfer to a baking dish and bake until the ricotta mixture is set, about 12 minutes
While the cheese is baking, combine the berries, 1/4 cup of the olive oil, chili flakes, herbs, black pepper, and a pinch of salt
Remove the ricotta from the oven and top with the berry mixture and then return to the oven. Bake until the berries have just burst, about 8 minutes
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes
Serve the warm cheese with crackers or toast alongside for dipping
