Join us for a special evening celebrating the work of local painter, Edward Ravine.
Dinner will begin with a welcome drink and a conversation with Ed about his artistic process and how his paintings are shaped by the Southwest Michigan landscape. Following the discussion will be a multi-course collaboration dinner inspired by Ed's selected paintings and prepared Granor Kitchen Team.
Presented as part of Art Attack 2026.
Longtime friend of Granor Farm, artist Ed Ravine is based in both Chicago and Southwest Michigan and specializes in representational art and landscapes as influenced by Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, and Tom Thomson of the Canadian Seven school of painting. His subjects include landscapes in the Midwest, the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, Winslow Homer’s coastline in Maine, and sunrises and sunsets in Harbor Country. His work has been exhibited at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, the Evanston Public Library, The Three Crowns Gallery in Illinois, and Local Color Gallery in Union Pier.
In addition to his work as an artist, Ed has worked as a Licensed Counseling Psychologist for the last 56 years. He describes the fusion of these two disciplines in the following way, "I believe that 'suffering that is not transformed, is transmitted.' And that we all have an obligation to transform our trauma’s and losses. Painting is the way for me to be in the deeper and more healing part of life."

Have you ever watched a cooking show and wished that you could ask a question or taste what they are making? Now you can! In our Chef's Table Dinners, the Granor Chef will teach a minimum of five different dishes, and serve a tasting portion of each one accompanied by our Granor Wine. These events are typically about three hours, and you will leave with full recipes, a new skill set, and a full belly.
The meal will begin with family-style snacks followed with an individually-plated, three course menu featuring traditional favorites from Burgundy. These classic dishes will be made showcasing a selection of fresh Granor vegetables and just-baked bread. The meal will conclude with a tasty, winter-time dessert.
Every meal includes beverages, both Granor Table Wine and non-alcoholic options, paired with that night's menu.
