Fish Tacos with Kohlrabi Salad

This kohlrabi salad goes well with any sort of taco, fish just happens to be our favorite.

1 filet pollock or whitefish
12 corn or flour tortillas
2 kohlrabi, peeled and cut into matchsticks
2 limes, juice and zest
1 bunch cilantro
1/4 cup mayo
1 tbsp hot sauce (prefer fresno pepper hot sauce)


  1. Heat the grill or broiler to high heat
  2. Coat the fish with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
  3. Grill until cooked through and slightly charred
  4. Warm tortillas
  5. Toss the kohlrabi, lime juice, zest, and cilantro with a big pinch of salt
  6. Combine the mayo and hot sauce
  7. Cut the fish into 1/2 oz strips
  8. Build the tacos with pieces of fish topped with some spicy mayo and a big spoonful of kohlrabi salad
