A feeling of awakening and balance marks Spring Equinox on the farm. The evening hours are brighter, but the sun's rays still shine at a soft angle, pulling us back to the outside. The plants are beginning to grow with vigor, with tender green leaves just unfurled to meet the longer days. And the birds come back; their song a harbinger of solar spring.

Join us for an evening basking in the equal balance between day and night, soundtracked by the GRAMMY award winning compilation album For The Birds: The Birdsong Project, all while enjoying a plated five-course dinner from Chef Alex and her team in the Granor Greenhouse.

Like spotting the first red-breasted robin of the year, the return of bird calls marks the moment when the farm re-awakens. We're honoring that annual waypost with a dinner set to The Birdsong Project.
For the Birds: The Birdsong Project is a collection of 172 pieces of new music inspired by the beauty of birdsong, performed by artists from across the musical spectrum. Comprised of 20 LPs, each with original cover art, this deluxe box set also features 73 works of bird-inspired poetry, read by familiar and famous voices. This dinner-long listening party will comprise songs, calls, and spoken word pieces from this extensive project.
Copies of the 20-vinyl LP collection, For the Birds, are available for pre-order at the time of booking, with a few copies available for purchase on the night. Proceeds of the collection benefit the National Audubon Society.

Bejewelled-- A New Year's Eve Celebration Botanical Dining Room
There's no better way to dress up the middle of winter and welcome the coming of a new year than with a jewel-toned meal of freshly harvested vegetables and specialty ingredients from around the world. To celebrate the harvest of 2025 and the promise of 2026, the Granor Chef Team is creating a luxurious menu of our favorite kitchen jewels complimented with beverage pairings from the Granor Distillery and Single Vineyard wines.

Dinner + Drinks: Passages Listening Party
Our 2026 Granor Farm Kick Off Event will be one of the most special nights on the farm. Join us for a true Dinner Party, complete with cocktail hour and multi-course family style meal. This first-of-the-series event is in support of Passages: Artists in Solidarity with Immigrants, Refugees, and Asylum Seekers, a brand new compilation album featuring newly commissioned songs from Dirty Projectors, Bonnie "Prince" Billie, Alan Sparhawk of Low, and many others.

The evening will kick off a cocktail and appetizer hour with the album's co-producer Emilie Rex and DJ set from local musican and album contributor Erik Hall. We will then move to the Granor Greenhouse for a family style meal, inspired by the idea of 'home', which is central to the mission of the work, all accompanied by the Pasages vinyl LP as our dinner music. This event continues the project's fundraising efforts with donations going directly to the two Texas-based, non-profit support organizations, American Gateways and Casa Marianella.
