100 Yard Dinner: Cooking from the Farm

Date May 31 2025
Time 6:30-10:30PM
Cost: $196 all inclusive

In 2025 we are hosting a series of events each featuring a different aspect of Granor Farm and what makes Granor so special. Second in the series is a kitchen-focused intensive on how we craft true farm-to-table meals each week.

Every menu we write starts with the harvest list sent from the Field Team on Monday morning. From there Chef Alex Skryzypczyk and the Chef Team create a never to be repeated menu featuring freshly harvested ingredients, preserved crops from the previous season, and hearty storage crops from our Grain Team. Every item selected for our on-farm Farm Store has been curated to pair with or compliment the ingredients grown at Granor Farm by Jen Coate, Granor's Farm Store Manager.
.

Join us for a pre-dinner conversation lead by Alex and Jen about cooking close to the earth followed by our first 100 yard dinner, where every ingredient is sourced within feet from the kitchen. Learn more about what goes into crafting a unique menu every week, the challenges of regional sourcing, and have your burning shopping and kitchen questions answered along the way.

Founded in 2006, Granor Farm is a certified organic farm located in Three Oaks, Michigan. We grow delicious organic food for our local community. Granor Farm is committed to creating an environment respectful of the land we cultivate, the products we grow, and the local community we serve.

In 2017 we began our Field to Table Dining Program with just a few seats in the Farm House. In 2021, we constructed a “Venlo” type greenhouse of steel and glass with gabled roofs, which includes two growing areas and a dedicated space for dining and cooking. This is where our Taste of Granor series takes place, intentionally inviting our guests to dine on-farm in a working greenhouse, merely steps away from our Vegetable Fields. We continue to expand this programing year after year to further Granor's mission of connecting consumers with producers in an ever more exciting agricultural landscape.
