Since 1980, the Readiness Center has focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through the education children and families in Benton Harbor. Instilling within children the curiosity, confidence, and tools necessary to succeed in school, and recognizing parents as their child's first teacher, the Readiness Center's pre-school program has become a model for early childhood education and life-long learning. The center also serves children grades K-5 through their after-school "City Kids" program. City Kids pairs elementary school students with teen mentors—simultaneously providing the younger students with homework assistance and enrichment and the teen mentors with volunteer opportunities and early job experience.
This ticket includes a $50 donation to the Readiness Center that will be collected at the time of booking. Please know we are not a restaurant open to the public. All dinners are ticketed by advance reservation only and include beverage pairings. No outside alcohol is allowed.

Learn the fundamentals of fresh pasta from illustrator and life-long pasta maker, Julie Morelli. In this class, you will create flour + egg and flour + water doughs to be transformed into various shapes and paired with fresh sauces. We'll work with Granor-grown wheat and other specialty flours for a true from-the-field experience.

Our workshops are the most in-depth course we offer. Together the group will prepare multiple pasta-based dishes under the tutelage of Julie Morelli. Then we will come together as a group and enjoy the fruits of our labors as a sit down, family-style meal. The meal includes Granor Table Wine.
