Can I pre-order my Seedlings?
No. All seedlings are sold in-person.
We will not have an online/pre-order option.
Are Seedlings available any time before or after Memorial Day weekend?
If there are seedlings available after the Memorial Day sale, we will have them available for sale in our Farm Store the following weekends.
What do I do with my seedlings when I get them home?
All of the seedlings will be watered the day you buy them. Keep the soil moist with daily watering and re-pot or plant them within 5-10 days of purchase.
Helpful planting tips for your seedlings:
Keep an eye on local weather forecasts as you prepare for transplanting. If a serious cold snap is imminent, hold off on transplanting until temperatures are more agreeable.
If possible, transplant on a warm, overcast day in the early morning. This gives the plants a chance to settle into the soil without being instantly exposed to the intense midday sun.
After you transplant, keep the soil bed moist, never allowing it to dry out. Water gently with a watering can at the soil level, not from above. Until the plants are well established, water often enough (usually about once a day) so that the soil surface never dries out, but remains constantly damp.
