Great Lakes Tinned Fish Release Party

Date Oct 25 2024
Time 3:00-6:00PM

Stop by to meet Marissa Fellows of Great Lakes Tinned Fish, the first Midwest-based tinned fish company sourcing exclusively from the Great Lakes region. Together, we'll celebrate the inaugural launch of their line of smoked whitefish, while supporting sustainable fishing practices and the freshwater commercial fishing industry.

Marissa Fellows founded Great Lakes Tinned Fish to expand the tinned fish market to the "Third Coast", creating a new line of fish products while simultaneously adding a new market for the freshwater commercial fishing industry. With a focus on sustainable fishing, Marissa works with fishers, packers, and processors to avoid over-fishing and create a non-perishable portion of the local fish world, aiming to flatten the peaks and valleys of seasonal fishing operations.
