This Galentine’s Day, join us for a celebration of women and female friendship, complete with a cocktail hour and multi-course family style meal highlighting a host of exceptional female growers and producers from our region.
The evening will begin with a cocktail and appetizer hour in our School House, featuring Granor Spirits and Granor-grown produce. During this time, you will have the opportunity to write an encouraging message to a fellow attendee inside a quirky, food-themed Nourishing Notes greeting card and to select a botanical oracle card to guide your self-reflection for the upcoming year. We will then move to the Granor Greenhouse for a family-style meal loaded with Granor-grown produce and ingredients from woman-owned local businesses: Madre Masa, Willowbrook Farms and Sticky Spoons Jams.
The meal will be paired with Granor Table Wines and full NA beverages are available upon request.
At Granor Farm, partnering with like-minded regional producers and artisans has always been a part of our ethos; and this Galentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the women-led businesses that make this region so special. Your evening will begin in our School House with a cocktail crafted by our lead distiller and beverage director, Anna Rafalski, and hors d’oeuvres from the Granor kitchen led by Chef Alex Skrzypczyk. During the cocktail hour, guests will select a handcrafted greeting card designed by Chicago-based creative, Julie Morelli, and write an uplifting note to exchange with another guest.
After the cocktail and appetizer hour, guests will move to the Greenhouse for a hearty, nourishing featuring an abundance of Granor-grown produce, as well pasture-raised meat provided by Vanessa Frias of Willowbrook Farms, masa from Madre Masa, and homemade fruit jams and preserves from Aiye Akhigbe of Sticky Spoons Jams.

These events are typically about three hours, and you will leave with full recipes, a new skill set, and a full belly.
