Camilla Wynne is one of Canada's only Master Preservers, and also a pastry chef, a teacher, a writer and a musician. Her creativity shines through in her new book, Nature's Candy, a fun and approachable guide to candying fruit and baking with it. Join us as we welcome her for an extra special holiday dinner.
.
The evening will kick off with a conversation between famed Chicago food writer, Tim Mazurek and Camilla about how she fell in love with preserving fruit, which fruits are the most challenging, what her favorite non-traditional fruit recipes are, and why the fruit preservation in the Canadian cold is so important.
.
Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal with dishes inspired by Camilla's book, Nature's Candy. Every ticket includes a copy of Nature's Candy. Additional copies will be on hand for purchase the night of the event or can be added on during the booking process. The event will conclude with a book signing.
