There's nothing better than cooking and eating, except maybe reading and eating with friends. Our Book + Supper Club combines those three loves in one evening of books, dinner, and conversation.

Please join us for Book and Supper Club with Caroline Woods, whose new page-turner, The Mesmerist, follows three women who must work together to catch a killer and save the truest home they've ever known.

Garden Grove Inn in Union Pier is offering a limited availability add on package that includes a one night stay at the Inn, along with a mailed copy of The Mesmerist, transportation to and from the dinner, and breakfast with Caroline on Saturday morning. You'll have the option to add additional nights at a discounted rate and make a weekend of it!
The evening will kick off with a conversation with Caroline about the true story that inspired The Mesmerist, the dangers that women faced in late 19th century Minneapolis, and how her historical research informed her writing process.
Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal with dishes inspired by Caroline's novel. The event will conclude with a book signing. Copies of The Mesmerist are available for purchase through Flourish Books and Plants.
