You can sprout just about any grain, so feel free to play around with any number of ingredients you have in your pantry. The fresher the grain, the faster it will sprout.
Ingredients
1 cup whole wheatberries
Method
Cover the wheatberries with cool water and let soak overnight
The next day, drain the berries and rinse with fresh water, then cover with water and let soak overnight again
On day two, drain and rinse the berries and then stand at room temperature overnight
On day three, the grain should be soft enough to eat on it's own and little tails should begin to sprout
After sprouting, refrigerate to prevent the sprouts from growing mold in their moist environment
