Every winter we host a fondue dinner where a big platter of fresh and roasted bread accompany just-baked bread and a creamy cheese sauce for dipping. We're sharing the recipe so you can make it at home.
Ingredients
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 lb gruyere, raclette, or swiss style cheese
Method
Whisk together the cornstarch and water
Bring the milk to a simmer over medium heat
Whisk in the cornstarch slurry
Add the cheese a handful at a time and stir until melted
