Savory Dutch Baby with Microgreens

A savory Dutch baby baked until golden and airy, studded with chives and nutty Gruyère, then finished with a fresh scatter of microgreens. Perfect for a relaxed brunch, a light lunch, or a simple centerpiece for sharing at the table.


Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 cup Granor pastry flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp minced chives
1 tsp butter
1/3 cup grated gruyere
1/2 clamshell Granor microgreens of choice

Method

  1. Heat oven to 425 F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, flour, milk and salt.  Stir in chives.
  3. Melt the butter in frying pan over medium high heat.  Swirl the butter around the pan so that it coats the bottom.
  4. Pour batter into buttered pan and sprinkle cheese over the top.  Bake until puffed and golden.  Top with your favorite microgreens and serve.
