These fudgy brownies are a breeze to make and with 100% cocopowder are the best scratch version of the box mix style brownies from many of our childhoods.
Ingredients
1 lb | 445 g Butter
3 1/2 cups | 750 g sugar
2 1/2 cups | 195 g coco powder
2 tsp | 10 g kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups | 225 g Granor all-purpose flour
Method
Heat oven to 300F
In a double boiler, melt the butter then add the sugar and coco powder and stir until combined
Remove from the heat and add the vanilla
Then add the eggs one by one whisking until fully combined before going on to the next one
Add the flour and salt and stir until an even and silky batter
Pour into a greased 9x13" baking dish
Bake until the brownies are fully cooked through and dry to the touch in the middle, about 20 minutes
