The only thing we love as much as eating is reading; this dinner combines those two loves. January's Book and Supper Club features Josh Kulp and Christine Cikowski owner of Sunday Dinner Club and Honey Butter Fried Chicken in Chicago, IL. Both Josh and Granor Farm Chef, Abra Berens, have contributed recipes to the James Beard Foundation's new cookbook Waste Not, highlighting ways to mitigate food waste in home kitchens. The meal features recipes from Waste Not and conversation around ways that you can waste less food in your own home. All diners will receive a copy of this great book as part of the ticket price.
Event is fully booked.
Follow the lantern lit path to our farm house, where appetizers and your copy of Waste Not will be waiting. After all guests arrive, we will host a conversation around Granor's growing practices, food insecurity, and how to minimize waste in your own home.
The five course, family-style meal will be based around the celebrity chef recipes from Waste Not and featuring eggs and produce grown on Granor Farm, proteins sourced from neighboring farms, and local cheeses and grains. Dinner will conclude with a book signing over coffee and dessert. Additional copies of the book for purchase will be on hand during the signing.
All dinners are by reservation only and BYOB. The ticket price includes a copy of Waste Not.
