Please join us for our first Sunday Supper featuring the food of Matafame, a Chicago-based regional Italian dinner club. Together we will be making a five-course, family style meal showcasing the best produce grown by Granor prepared a la Italiana.
Event has passed.
Matafame is a Chicago-based supper club inspired by the long-standing tradition of using the table as a place to converge and connect. Matafame, an expression meaning “hunger killer” with origins in Italian and Spanish, historically described simple dishes that kept Mediterranean fisherman sated while at sea. Their food is an homage to the regionalized peasant cuisines that have supported localized food systems and nourished communities for centuries.
Chefs Brianna Bond, Maddie Mays, and Sarah Angileri are tre donne with a desire to feed people meaningfully. We’ve worked across the industry as caterers and personal chefs, line cooks and bakers, food stylists, cookbook editors, and food writers.
**Please note that we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions for this meal**

Three Oaks, MI 49128
Coming from Chicago, the farm is accessible from the Union Pier exit off I-94, roughly 90 minutes from the Loop.
We are located 7 miles east of Red Arrow Highway on Warren Woods Road, between Log Cabin Road and Pardee Road.
There’s a bunch of great reasons to visit the farm all year round, from our annual Seedling Sale, to yoga in the barn, to dinners in our renovated farmhouse.
Our farmstand is stocked with Certified Organic produce, all grown, from seed to harvest, by Granor. While you’re here, enjoy a self-guided tour through the farm, visit our chickens, and get to know the farmers who grow your food. All of our produce is harvested fresh for market, often the day of sale, and showcases the best of each season.
