Great food requires great equipment to prepare it. In addition to the incredible crops grown in our region, we are lucky to have so many producers of artisan food products to make those ingredients shine.
For our November Meet the Producer dinner, we welcome Ted Burdett and his companyIronwood Cast Iron into our farm and kitchen.
Ironwood's aim is to rethink and redesign traditional cookware, giving it a modern twist while improving performance and functionality ultimately creating cookware that inspires cooks to create, cook and serve beautiful food.
Please join us for a five course, family style meal all cooked in Ironwood's sculptured cast iron pans in Granor's wood oven. This dinner will start with a conversation with Ted Burdett about his cookware, the path of small batch cast iron production, and all things food and what can be cooked in cast iron.
In addition to the meal, each dinner guest will receive a (clean) Ironwood skillet as part of the ticket price.
