Granor Farm is fortunate to be rooted in a region full of artisan producers. Meet the Producer Dinners connect diners with a regional food producer as we sample their tasty work and learn about what goes into its production. Each meal begins with discussion with the farmers, followed by a multi-course, family-style meal showcasing their ingredients as well as vegetables and grains grown by Granor.
For our December Producer Dinner features the cheeses from Evergreen Lane in Fennville, MI and a conversation with farmer and cheese maker Cathy Halinski.
Evergreen Lane is in their tenth season of crafting delicious cheese at their on-farm creamery. Situated between the lakeshore villages of Saugatuck and South Haven, their story begins with a single runaway goat bursting into their lives-- and living room-- and has blossomed over the years into a thriving cheese making business. The milk they source is from animals fed with the highest quality feed and hay. All of this attention to the animal’s health and well-being translates into wonderful cheeses that can be enjoyed, knowing that they are doing the best they can for their animals and for you.
Join us as we talk about the ins and outs of the dairy industry and share a meal that combines Evergreen Lane's award winning cheeses with vegetables and grains grown by Granor.
**Please note we are not able to accommodate dairy free or vegan dietary restrictions for this dinner.**
