Join us and Mawby Sparkling, one of Northern Michigan's first and finest wineries, as we celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a multi-course dinner accompanied by sparkling wine pairings.

**Please note that due to the nature of this event, we will not be offering NA wine pairings**
In 1973, Larry Mawby began producing wines in Leelanau County, whose shorter growing season and cool climate, along with Lake Michigan's moderating effect, are ideal for the grape varietals that produce Champagne-style wines. Brothers Mike and Pete Laing carry on that tradition, with Mawby receiving acclaim as a top Michigan winery. Their dedication to preserving the environment as they produce both traditional and Charmat method sparkling wines embodies the fact that every glass is an agricultural product tied to the work of the fruit growers.
The evening opens with a discussion with Mike Laing about sparkling wine production, the pressures of taking over a winery with such a notable reputation, and what the next fifty years holds for Mawby Sparkling.
Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal featuring Granor-grown produce and accompanied by specially-selected sparkling wines.
