To celebrate the warming effect that soup has, we have invited friend of the farm, Shelly Westerhausen Worcel, back to Granor to help us cook up a variety of soup for this very special Friday Dinner.
This soup-er edition of Friday Dinners will kick off with a conversation with Shelly about writing her fourth book, why soup, and what the foundation of every great pot of stew requires.
After the talk, the Granor Kitchen will present a three course soup menu inspired by Shelly's book. Alongside the soup will be a big salad and garlic bread. The meal will finish with a book signing by Shelly. Every meal includes beverages, both alcoholic and non, paired with that night's menu.
This dinner is shorter and more casual than our traditional Taste of Granor. Children are more than welcome, but we do not offer a "kids menu" or discounted pricing.
Copies of Soup for Every Season are available for pre-order with your tickets as well as on the night.

There’s a bunch of great reasons to visit the farm all year round, from our annual Seedling Sale, to visiting the Farm Store, to participating in our CSA or Farm Camp programs. And coming later this year, we hope to return to hosting dinners on the farm.
There's nothing better than cooking and eating, except reading about cooking and eating. Our Book + Supper Club combines those three loves in one evening of cookbooks, dinner, and conversation.
Please join us for a Book and Super Club with Erika Kubick, cheesemonger turned cheese evangelist and author of Cheese Sex Death: A Bible for the Cheese Obsessed.
