There's nothing better than cooking and eating, except reading about cooking and eating. Our Book + Supper Club combines those three loves in one evening of cookbooks, dinner, and conversation. Please join us for this very special Book and Super Club with chef and author, Paul Kahan.
One Off’s Executive Chef, Paul Kahan, made his mark on Chicago through his ingredient-driven cooking techniques, but if you ask him, his favorite place to cook is right at home in the kitchen, surrounded by friends and family, talking, laughing and having a great time. Cooking for Good Times (co-authored by avec’s Chef de Cuisine Perry Hendrix and Rachel Holtzman), shares Kahan's best kept secrets for approachable cooking for friends and family, using basic techniques to whip up all elements of a meal.
The evening will kick off with a talk and reading by Chef Kahan as well as question and answer session. Following the discussion will be a seven course meal with dishes inspired by Cooking for Good Times and featuring ingredients grown by Granor Farm. The meal will close with a book signing.
Every ticket includes a copy of Cooking for Good Times. Additional copies of each will be on hand for purchase the night of the event.
**Please note we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions for this meal.**

Coming from Chicago, the farm is accessible from the Union Pier exit off I-94, roughly 90 minutes from the Loop.
We are located 7 miles east of Red Arrow Highway on Warren Woods Road, between Log Cabin Road and Pardee Road.
There’s a bunch of great reasons to visit the farm all year round, from our annual Seedling Sale, to yoga in the barn, to dinners in our renovated farmhouse.
Our farmstand is stocked with Certified Organic produce, all grown, from seed to harvest, by Granor. While you’re here, enjoy a self-guided tour through the farm, visit our chickens, and get to know the farmers who grow your food. All of our produce is harvested fresh for market, often the day of sale, and showcases the best of each season.
