The only thing we love as much as eating is reading; this dinner combines those two loves. February's Book + Supper Club features Amy Emberling and Frank Carollo, Owners and Managing Partners of Zingerman's Bakehouse in Ann Arbor, MI. Their first cookbook is jam-packed with recipes for both their iconic breads and pastries as well as the savory dishes that flesh out their offerings at the Bakehouse. The meal features recipes from this long-awaited cookbook. All diners will receive a copy of their cookbook as part of the ticket price.
Event is fully booked.
Follow the lantern-lit path to our farmhouse where appetizers and your copy of the Zingerman's Bakehouse book will await you. After everyone arrives there will be a brief introduction to Zingerman's, the Bakehouse, and their philosophy on food and the process of writing this book.
Following the introduction, the five course, family-style meal based around recipes in Amy and Frank's book will ensue. That dinner will feature eggs, grains, and produce grown on Granor Farm, proteins sourced from neighboring farms, and Zingerman's cheeses. Dinner will conclude with a book signing over coffee and dessert. They will have additional copies of their book on hand during the signing.
All dinners are by reservation only and BYOB. The ticket price includes a copy of the Zingerman's Bakehouse Cookbook.
