There's nothing better than cooking and eating, except reading about cooking and eating. Our Book + Supper Club combines those three loves in one evening of cookbooks, dinner, and conversation. Please join us for Book and Supper Club with Emma Zimmerman, miller and author of The Miller's Daughter, Unusual Flours and Heritage Grains.
The evening will kick off with a conversation with Emma, talking about life as a miller at Hayden Mills in Arizona, the cookbook writing process, and why heritage grains are so important. She will be joined by a member of Granor Farm's Grain Department to discuss the larger grain economy and how their farms are similar and different in vastly different regions.
Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal with dishes inspired by Emma's book, The Miller's Daughter. The meal will close with a book signing.
Every ticket includes a copy of The Miller's Daughter. Additional copies of each will be on hand for purchase the night of the event or can be added on to your reservation during the booking process.

Granor Farm is fortunate to be rooted in a state full of artisan producers. Granor’s “Community Dinner” series connects diners with regional place-makers with Granor Farm as a philanthropic partner. Our program begins with a discussion orientated around the organization and how it connects to the region, followed by a multi-course meal showcasing ingredients grown by Granor and to the organization's mission.
Cyclists can meet at the farm Saturday mornings for a 30 mile road ride led by our grain team. Expect a brisk 18-19 mph pace, great scenery, and friendly folks! The ride will start from our new greenhouse parking lot located at 3520 Warren Woods Road, Three Oaks, MI.
