Allison Svoboda will debut her new work at a private dinner the Granor Farm Greenhouse, where you'll have the opportunity to speak with the artist about her work.

Artist Statement:
"Using Lake Michigan water to soak the paper I use industrial salts,
simple pigments, sand, wind and water movement as mark making
tools. The alchemical magic that occurs is always a revelation.
Is it cosmic or molecular? Does it represent destruction or regrowth?
The paradox that we both fear and worship water is a seductive
notion. I would like to think there is a connection with cycles of
the moon and these alchemical reactions.”

There’s a bunch of great reasons to visit the farm all year round, from our annual Seedling Sale, to visiting the Farm Store, to participating in our CSA or Farm Camp programs. And coming later this year, we hope to return to hosting dinners on the farm.
